


KYA - Juba
Kongor Youth Association (KYA) started as the Kongor Students’ Association (KSA), on 24th March, 1998 in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya. The main purpose of the Association then was to support the welfare of students from Kongor, teach them life skills, and assist them to succeed in life, to consequently promote and support the development of Kongor and the well-being of its people.

Respect for one another and for the Law
All members demonstrate mutual respect for one another, and none is above the Law, but all shall be subject to the provisions of KYA-JUBA Constitution

All operations and activities of the Association are conducted openly, with utmost transparency and accountability.

KYA members and especially leaders demonstrate good ethics and impeccable integrity, as people of good character and above reproach
Activities
Leadership
Our association builds the next generation of leaders through fair and transparent elections conducted by the Independent Electoral Committee (IEC). Together, we nurture accountability, unity, and vision.
Sports
We believe in teamwork, discipline, and healthy living. Through football, wrestling, and other youth sports, we create platforms to showcase talent and promote peace within our community.
Sponsorship
We provide academic sponsorships to bright but underprivileged youth. Education is the foundation of progress, and we are committed to building a future where every young person has a chance to succeed.
